Brampton And Regional Islamic Centre (BARIC)

Brampton And Regional Islamic Centre (BARIC) has been incorporated in the province of Ontario on August 29, 2012 under the Ontario Corporations Act as a not-for-profit charitable organization. These by-laws embody various procedures and policies that will be followed in the general conduct of the affairs of BARIC. These by-laws were approved in their entirety by the Board of Directors on January 6, 2013.
In the Constitution (By-Laws) of BARIC, unless the context suggests otherwise:
“BARIC” means Brampton And Regional Islamic Centre
“Centre” means physical place where BARIC activities are carried out
“Board” means Board of Directors
“AGM” means Annual General Meeting
“SGM” means Special General Meeting
“PM” Primary Member
“GM” General Member
“FM” Founder Member
“LM” Life Member
“Member” means all four types of Members e.g. PM, GM, FM and LMWords in the singular include the plural and vice versa and words in specific gender include the other genders.
Name of Organization
The name of the organization shall be Brampton And Regional Islamic Centre (BARIC), hereinafter referred to as “BARIC”.
Head OfficeBARIC shall have its head office located at 4525 Ebenezer Road, Unit #3, Brampton, Ontario L6P 2K8 to facilitate the management and administration of its activities and maintenance of records.
Type of Organization
BARIC shall be a charitable, non-profit, non-political and Islamic religious organization, and shall be devoted to the services of the Muslim communities living in Brampton and surrounding areas. BARIC will carry out its objectives and all activities in accordance with Al-Qurãn and Haadith that came through Prophet Mohammed SA
